Tomorrow is the last Saturday we will be open in 2015. Starting in November, US Boatworks will be closed on Saturdays through February. This allows for a much needed break for our employees. Its a time for us rejuvenate over the winter and prepare for boating season 2016.
If you haven’t winterized your boat yet, please do so TODAY or get your boat inside. Temperatures are to be around freezing in the evenings the next few days. Putting off winterizing can cause lots of headaches in the spring when put your boat on the water. A cracked block can leave you on the shore for several summer weekends while you wait for your motor to be replaced. Please visit my previous blog article on winterizing as well as our boat motor winterizing tips page. Both will offer tips for getting this chore done before its too late.
Our operating hours for the winter months are 9 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday until February. We are willing to meet customers at other reasonable times by appointment.
